Bible Society of Kenya is a non- denominational and non-sectarian organization that serves all Christians BSK was registered as a Society in 1970 under the Societies Act. Membership is open to Christians, churches, and corporate organizations.

2. Objectives of the Engagement
The overall objectives of the internal audit engagement are to:
1. Provide independent assurance that BSK’s internal controls, governance and risk management processes are adequate and functioning effectively.
2. Conduct regular internal audits across finance, operations, procurement, HR, programmes, and the four (4) locations including quarterly physical stock counts and reconciliations.
3. Identify, report, and follow-up on control weaknesses and recommend pragmatic corrective measures to management and the Risk and Audit Committee (RAC).
4. Support continuous improvement of the society’s control environment, compliance with donor rules and applicable laws.
3. Period of Engagement
• Duration: 12 months (one year) commencing on 1st February 2026.
• Extension: The contract may be extended for up to three (3) additional years subject to satisfactory performance.
